KAYE OF OLOGBO TOWN

Kaye of Ologbo is from the Iyatsere family. The Iyatsere family was made up of three communities in Warri Kingdom, which are Ubeji, Ologbo and Ugbolokposo. Kaye of Ologbo was among the Itsekiri Powerful men, who used mastery power. He used to be on a tree as he transformed himself to a big bird always. He was the only Itsekiri powerful man that did not die or corpse see.

Kaye reign as a great powerful man in Warri kingdom. When Oba of Benin had of him, Oba of Benin sent a message to the Olu of Warri, that he had about one of his powerful Son. Please sent that your son to me say Oba. There was a battle i was fighting, but my Warriors are always defended, I want him to go and fight the battle for me and my people. Olu told the Messengers to tell him that he had his message and he will send Kaye to him. Kaye was told the Message, from the Oba of Benin. Kaye prepared and meets with Oba of Benin, in Benin.

KAYE MEET OBA OF BENIN

Kaye arrive the Oba palace, and sat with Oba of Benin, after all the entertainment by the Oba and his people to Kaye. Kaye says Oba you sent for me, Oba move on and narrate his challenge to Kaye. After Oba finish telling Kaye his challenge, both of them go on an agreement.

Oba of Benin told Kaye if you can go, fight the battle between me and King of Akure and return back. You wouldn’t go far away from me, I will give you a forest of land that you will build and settle in. Kaye agrees, prepared himself very well and went to Akure to fight the battle for Oba of Benin.

The King of Akure is a powerful King, who killed all the warriors Oba of Benin used to send to battle with him and his people in Akure.

KAYE AS WOMAN IN PALACE OF AKURE KING

Kaye of Ologbo transforms himself to a beautiful woman and enters into the Oba of Akure palace.With something on her head hacking. When the servants in the palace saw her, they were amazed by her hacking. Immediately news reaches the Oba, he orders the palace guild to bring her to him. When the Oba of Akure saw her, he was happy. Welcome her and take her to bed. During that process Kaye on bed with him, Kaye transforms herself from a woman to himself back and battle with the Akure King. Kaye won the battle and return to Oba of Benin.

KAYE RETURN TO OBA OF BENIN

After a mission completed by Kaye, he present himself before the Oba of Benin with prove on his hands that he had accomplish his mission. When Oba of Benin saw that, he was excited. But base on the agreement between him and Kaye, Oba of Benin told Kaye that he should go home. Tomorrow, both of us shall start our journey from our respective home; any where we meet each other in my Kingdom shall be our boundary.

As a wise Oba, as Kaye left, he packed the foot of Kaye and used it against Kaye. Which make Kaye over slept? Kaye as a strong man, that awake late in the morning. Flee to meet Oba of Benin; Oba was surprise when he saw Kaye on his back. Oba gave Kaye the land, base on the agreement they undergoes. Both of them used a tree to mark their boundary.

KAYE TOWN OLOGBO

The hero, Kaye return from Benin to Warri kingdom (Itsekiri land) to packed his assets and take some of his people who agree to live within, to his new village he called Ologbo. The land were build by him and his people, the settlement was a peaceful settlement. Oba believed as Kaye is living closer to him, he and his people (Benin people) are saved.

Kaye and his people speak the Itsekiri language and continue with Ebure serving, they used to do in Warri Kingdom. Also they continue with all the tradition of Itsekiri as even as they now live in Benin Kingdom. As time goes Kaye people (Ologbo people) intermarry with the Benin people.

There was a time Kaye told his people, I will not die, but when the time for me to die. I will flee away, if I don’t return believed that I’m death. And he did as he says. Kaye was the only powerful man in Warri Kingdom (Itsekiri land) that he corpse was not seeing nor buried.
