OYO STATE GOVERNMENT SPEND N3.7bn TO CONVERT SIX SCHOOLS TO MODEL SCHOOL



 The commissioner of education

The Oyo state government is going to spend N3.7bn to convert six  secondary schools in the state to model schools.
Prof. Solomon Olaniyonu, the state commissioner for education, stated that different political zones in the state will benefit from the initiative. Each of the schools will cost N622m, with model facilities administrative blocks, libraries, laboratories and workshops e.t.c.
Schools benefiting from the initiative:
Anglican secondary school, Orita-Mefa, Ibadan,
Oba Akinbiyi High School, Ibadan,
Ogbomoso High School, Ogbomoso,
Obaseeku High School, Eruwa,
Abiodun Atiba Grammar School, Oyo,
Baptist High School, Saki.
